We love our electric guitars, but also like adding banjo and mando. We do a country version of a Velvet Underground tune. We do a bluegrassy version of Roxy Music. We do a hard-rock version of Buck Owens.

The Roe Family Singers are a good-time, old-time, hillbilly band. What started as the husband-and-wife duo of Kim and Quillan Roe has now grown into a band that can comprise as few as 4 musicians or as many as 9! Whether it's a large group or small, you're always going to have a good time, as they play a mix of music from Bill Monroe to the Misfits, Hank WIlliams to Patsy Cline, and their own songs, too!
3:45p Dave Afdahl & the Second Hand Opera
Dave Afdahl & The Second-Hand Opera consists of five all star members on piano, vocals, drums, cello, guitar, bass, and more. Our music is a mix of rock, folk, pop, alternative, and indie genres. The Second-Hand Opera will be recording two full length albums later this Fall and will be tour the United States later this Spring!
5p Romantica – back by popular demand!
Romantica plays lush, richly orchestrated pop-folk made rural by twangy pedal steel. Led by an Irishman, the music contains references to Ireland but is placed firmly in the rich musical traditions of American country and folk music. Romantica’s 2007 sophomore album, America, has won numerous accolades, including two awards from the International Songwriting Competition. PASTE Magazine gave the album 4 Stars and ranked it #58 on their list of the "TOP 100 ALBUMS of 2007". The Onion, Minneapolis Star Tribune, and City Pages have all called America one of the "Best Local Albums of 2007." Romantica has recently performed with Ryan Adams and Sara Watkins (of Nickel Creek), toured with Carrie Rodriguez, showcased at SxSW and The Americana Music Conference and their music has been added to the in-flight music on Sun Country Airlines flights as part of their MN Music Campaign.
