2023 BREWERS CUP AWARDS
The MN Brewers Cup is the state-wide, blind taste-test competition for Minnesota breweries and brewpubs! First held in 2019, this event showcases the innovation and mastery of the craft of brewing in our state.
This year, the Brewers Cup Competition had 450+ beers entered from over 90 Minnesota breweries and brewpubs. Beers were organized into 23 categories based on style, and entries were judged blind by 20 beer judges based on how well each submission represented the standards of its style. This was also the first year that Hard Seltzers was added as a category!
Competition results were announced during the MN Brewers Cup Awards Ceremony as we also enjoyed dinner and dessert at Union Depot—St. Paul.
The top three in each style category, along with the top three overall, were announced at an industry-only awards ceremony on April 20, 2023.
