The MNCBG CBC Scholarships are awarded to brewery or brewpub members to help businesses offset the cost of attending the annual Craft Brewers Conference. Scholarships are awarded in the form of a registration reimbursement. Recipients will be selected based on need and our goal of supporting a variety of MN craft breweries and brewpubs. Only one scholarship per business will be awarded.
Eligibility:
Any MNCBG member brewery or brewpub is welcome to apply. The application is likely best filled out by someone in a leadership role, but this is not required. Please note: the reimbursement will be awarded to the member brewery, not the individual who completes the application.
The MNCBG Fall and Spring Scholarships support programs related to continuing education, training, certification, etc. Recipients will be selected anonymously, based on need, by members of the Guild’s EDU and/or DEI Committee. Scholarships will be awarded as a reimbursement check for program expenses; receipt of purchase will be required.
Eligibility:
Any staff (FT or PT) employed at an MNCBG member brewery or brewpub is welcome to apply. Scholarships will only be awarded to applicants who list a specific program/plan for their scholarship. Scholarship must be used on program expenses (such as registration, tuition, book fees, or travel) for the program indicated in the application. The Guild highly encourages staff who are underrepresented in the MN Craft Beer Industry to apply for our scholarships.
As part of our mission to promote, protect, and grow a robust MN craft brewing industry, the MNCBG offers scholarships to individuals at member brewery/brewpubs throughout the year, and provides scholarships to students enrolled in the Dakota County Technical College‘s Brewing and Beer Steward Technology Certificate Program.
