The Minnesota Brewers Cup is a state-wide competition for breweries and brewpubs to showcase their innovation and mastery of craft. Winners will be announced during the private Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 20 (the evening after the MN Brewers Conference) and will receive special promotional opportunities.
The MN Brewers Cup Competition will be held in April 2023. Competition registration will open February 9. See below for details on registration, drop-off, and entry requirements.

Each entrant is limited to 6 entries total.

Note: For the first time, the MN Brewers Cup Awards Ceremony (evening) will be held the same day as the MN Brewers Conference (daytime). Both events will take place at Union Depot—St. Paul; tickets to each event are sold separately, but both can be purchased at the link below.
The MN Brewers Cup competition results will be announced during the Awards Ceremony as we also enjoy dinner and dessert in the Union Depot—St. Paul ballroom.

MN Brewers Cup Awards Ceremony Schedule
6:30 – 7 p.m.: Brewers Cup check-in & Cocktail reception
7:00 p.m.: Dinner service
7:30 p.m.: Award Ceremony begins
8:30 p.m.: Dessert service
9:30 p.m.: Last Call/Bar Close
10:00 p.m.: Event ends
First-place award trophies will be given at the ceremony along with a certificate; second and third place winners will also be announced and will be able to receive a certificate at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Additional awards will be voted on by membership and/or the Board of Directors, including:
Voting for these awards will take place prior to the Awards Ceremony; member main contacts will be provided more information on voting.
Promotion of Winners
The winners of the top 3 beers in each category will be announced at the awards ceremony and put on the MNCBG website, and all winners will be sent graphics and a marketing packet to help promote their achievement.
All first-place winners in each category will be announced in a press release, highlighted on the Guild’s social media, and promoted at the Minnesota State Fair. Up to 10 awardees may be asked to participate in the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild GABF space in Denver, Colorado. Requirements to participate are based on the BA’s rules for exhibiting in the Guilds Pavilion and some breweries may not qualify.
